The Story
Press by Tom Dixon is a range of glass artefacts designed and engineered to catch and refract light, and to last for ever. The Vertical Tealight holder is crafted from heavyweight, industrial grade glass and features thick grooves made of fat, chunky coils of pure, transparent glass. Bold in silhouette and simple in function, it is manufactured by dropping big globs of molten glass at 1,200 degrees centigrade and pressed in two or three part iron moulds to create the immediately familiar silhouette.
Also available from the Press range are the Small and Medium Bowl, Stem and Large Vase.
